Councillors Needed to keep Carharrack Independent
Carharrack Parish Council
⚠️ Carharrack Needs You ⚠️
Our village is at a crossroads.
Right now, we don’t have enough parish councillors to keep Carharrack running independently. If more people don’t step forward soon, we could be forced to amalgamate with another parish — meaning decisions about our village may no longer be made by the people who live here.
And that would be a real loss.
Carharrack has always been a place where the community looks after its own — where local voices matter, and where the village is shaped by the people who care about it most.
That’s why we need you.
Becoming a parish councillor might sound daunting, but it really isn’t:
- 🕒 We only meet once every 6 weeks
- 🤝 It’s a chance to have a real say in what happens locally
- 🌱 You can help protect and improve the village for everyone
- 💬 No special experience needed — just a willingness to get involved
This is about keeping Carharrack’s identity, voice, and independence.
The village should be run by the village.
If you’ve ever thought “someone should do something about that”… this is your chance to be that someone.
👉 Please consider putting yourself forward, or message us to find out more — even just an informal chat.
Let’s keep Carharrack in Carharrack hands ❤️
